The Global Business Talent F.E.C. is a 6-month programme that includes working, training and networking. The ultimate goal is to secure a permanent employment contract by the end of the programme.

Global Business Talent F.E.C.



What?

Global Business Talent F.E.C. is a programme designed to connect international talent to Finnish companies looking for growth domestically and abroad. It's a 6-month programme that includes working, training and networking. 

For whom?

The programme is designed for highly educated international professional. Ideally, you have a background in business, marketing, sales, or communications. You can be a recent graduate or seasoned professional – there are both entry-level positions as well as managerial roles.

Why?

The ultimate goal is to secure a permanent employment contract by the end of the programme, marking the start of a successful career in Finland. Along the way you'll be equipped with cutting-edge training, one-on-one-consulting and peer learning.

Please note that both of these two phases are required to be able to continue to the pre-selection. Pre-selection will be based on the information provided in the application, so please draft your application well! Describe what practical marketing or business expertise (work and/or education) you have to offer to a potential partnering company. Aava & Bang will invite applicants who pass the pre-selection for a group interview, which will be held on 16.4.2025. The final selection of participants will be made based on this interview.

Who is eligible to apply?

You can apply if you meet the following criteria

  • You are currently living in Finland, but your native language is not Finnish
  • You have higher educational background from Finland or abroad (Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate)
  • You are unemployed or at risk of unemployment
  • You are client of the the Helsinki, Espoo or Vantaa Employment Services, and your job search is ongoing
  • You have a working proficiency in English

And most importantly – you're eager to learn more, willing to work with our partner companies and your skills align with the needs of our partner companies.

What does the training consist of?

During the 6-month programme, you will spend approx. 70% of your time working at the company. The remaining 30% is devoted to developing your skills and knowledge through training, peer learning and one-on-one -consulting.

What happens during the programme?

The programme starts with the recruiting process. First we organize group interviews and after that selected candidates will meet the companies in our Bootcamp-day. Before Bootcamp you have a chance to join us for a voluntary kick-off day, where you will have the opportunity to hone your skills and prepare for the interviews.

During the F.E.C. programme you'll participate in training sessions 1-3 days each month, the aim being to help you to refresh your skills and succeed at your new job. 

On top of the training days you'll also have access to collaborative group activities and personalized consulting sessions. These opportunities are designed to assist you in navigating your new role, tackling obstacles head-on, and propelling your company and career towards success.
