In 2027 The Sustainable Growth Study expands to the Nordic countries, and an even more comprehensive, free report will be published in January 2027!

The study combines measuring the current state of employee and customer experience with the challenges of future development, viewed through the lens of sustainable growth. The underlying idea is that sustainable growth takes care of both people and results.

The survey is open for responses from 3 September to 8 November 2026. Based on the responses collected, we will once again produce a comprehensive, free Sustainable Growth Study report, to be published in January 2027.

Every completed response contributes 5 minutes to the Aava & Bang Pro Bono Bank (max. 50 h). Once full, we will donate a full Growth Strategy Workshop package to a Nordic non-profit focused on youth, mental health, and sustainable working life. By leaving your contact details, you will also be entered into a draw for a 150 € Nordic digital gift card (GoGift).

Thank you in advance for helping build sustainable growth.

Taking part in the study

The study explores how leaders and experts across organisations assess their own workplace, and how growth and culture are led within it. The study consists of four short sections and takes about 5–10 minutes to complete. The aim is to reach a diverse range of respondents, so we welcome answers from specialists, leaders, and those responsible for marketing, sales, HR, and internal communications alike. You can answer from the perspective of your own role, and every question also offers a "don't know" option.

In 2027 the study expands to the Nordic countries, so you can also answer in Finnish here or in Swedish here.

Answering the survey is voluntary, and you can respond anonymously. Responses are handled confidentially, and individual respondents cannot be identified from the results. The study is conducted by Aava & Bang Oy, and the research methodology and data analytics are led by Dr. Vilja Laaksonen (Ph.D.).

Every completed response contributes 5 minutes to the Aava & Bang Pro Bono Bank (max. 50 h). Once full, we will donate a full Growth Strategy Workshop package to a Nordic non-profit focused on youth, mental health, and sustainable working life. By leaving your contact details, you will also receive:

  • An invitation to the January results webinar (EN / FI), sent to your email as early as November.
  • The Sustainable Growth Study 2027 report, free of charge, as soon as it is published in January 2027.
  • A chance to win a 150 € Nordic digital gift card (GoGift) in a prize draw among respondents.

Explore previous years' study results

Researched data has its place in building sustainable growth. The 2026 results reinforce the view that employee experience and customer experience are at the core of engaging growth.

Organizations do not fail because they do not grow, but because people cannot keep up with the growth. The research results reveal that the most significant barriers to growth are linked to a lack of strategic management expertise.

Strategy does not turn into growth or everyday actions by itself. We may have more information than ever before, but less ability to turn it into action. Strategic management is missing from everyday structures, and resources are not found for the strategically most important matters.

Who is the study for, and why is it conducted?

The purpose of the study is to explore how leaders and experts across organisations assess their own workplace, and how its growth and culture are led. The aim is to reach a diverse range of respondents, so we welcome answers from specialists, leaders, and those responsible for marketing, sales, HR, and internal communications alike. You can answer from the perspective of your own role, and every question also offers a "don't know" option.

At Aava & Bang, we believe that in the future, a company's growth can no longer be led separately inside and outside the organisation. Building sustainable growth requires action from decision-makers, organisations, communities, and individuals alike.

Action is often preceded by a shift in thinking, and this is where researched knowledge has its own important place. That's why solid, research-based knowledge is needed to support high-quality decision-making.

The study is based on the idea that a better understanding of the responsible management of strategy, employee experience, and customer experience moves us forward as a society.
